are too busy helping the army and supplying it with its needs.
The story is mostly about the second sister, Jo or Josephine, who is loyal,
brave, daring and smart, and her adventures in the world.
Jo and the rest experience some difficulties and hard situations, which they
neatly solve, trying as hard as they can not to hurt anyone.
