BBC - Dedicated
to the BBC's television production of the Hitchhiker's Guide. Full of lots
of happy, pointless things to keep you occupied while waiting for the
Improbability Drive to kick in.

Calculo Review
If you're in the mood for silly, nonsensical humor, this book's for you.
With no real, continuous plot to speak of, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy is basically a hilarious, pointless romp through the galaxy.
Arthur Dent, a completely unsuspecting Earth Man, is whisked away by his
friend Ford Prefect right before the Earth is demolished to make way for
a galactic inter-space highway. If you think that sounds strange, wait 'till
you meet Zaphod Beeblebrox.
Despite its lack of conformity and unorthodox style, I enjoyed the Guide.
I started out watching the BBC production from the 1980s before I read the
book, but I'm not sure if that was a good or bad thing. If you've seen the
television production, read the books. If you haven't seen the television
production, read the books and then watch it.
If you're worried about whether or not this book is for you, look at it this
way. If you're extremely bored, just want a good laugh, want to know what
it would be like to travel around the galaxy literally by chance, or if you're
on very heavy prescription narcotics, I'm sure you'll enjoy HitchHiker's
Guide to the Galaxy. And don't forget to be kind to mice.
